Younger siblings will relate to this if they have an elder sister

Someone famously quoted “Sisters are for sharing laughter and wiping tears”. The person was absolutely right. But, first let me introduce to you my elder sister- she is a working lady and she's all sorts of cool! She's four years elder to me and yes, she made me believe that I was “Adopted” when I was a munchkin. Maybe all elder sisters are crack-heads; but they bring a lot of love and blessing to the life of every younger sister.

Sometimes she annoys you and sometimes she is overprotective. But nothing in this world can make you want to give her away for a minute. An older sister is as precious and rare as the Kohinoor diamond and people who have an older sister will surely understand.

Few experiences of being a younger sister:

1. As a child you were told that you were “adopted” and you literally believed it.

2. You begged her to let you borrow her clothes because they fit you well.

3. She is always your personal life adviser. When things get tough you always turn to your sister. She is the “wonder woman” for you.

4. She made school easier for you. Her class 10's Shakespeare book and notes was the quick-fix for passing your exams.

5. Your parents always compare your achievement with your elder sister's achievements.

6. She broke your parents' "protective" rules, and made you feel super cool by confiding in you.

7. Both of you used to fight on anything and everything but in the end she used to win anyway.

8. She still has your back though, no matter what.

9. She's your 'go-to person' after heartbreaks. Her words help you gain confidence again and fight back.

10. From eight to eighty, she will always be there for you as your BFF.
