An Indian-American woman has been elected as the president of the powerful student’s body of the prestigious Harvard University and we simply can’t stop parsing this lady. Meet Sruthi Palaniappan, age 20 and she is gaining fame in no time.
Well, her parents migrated to the US from Chennai in 1992 and this young lady made her parents and native country proud after she was elected as the president of the Harvard University Undergraduate Council. Sruthi said she and her running mate Julia Huesa planned to work on improving the council’s communication with the student’s body at Harvard in office. The best part is, these two ladies run a campaign under ‘making Harvard home’. She believes in education and supports the fact that, everyone needs to go to school for free.
