Iran is known to be restrictive towards the women living there. They are not supposed to enter the stadiums and they cannot leave the country without permission. To sum it up, you can say that they do not have quite a few of the basic fundamental rights. However, some Iranian women let their rebellious nature get the better of them and disguised themselves as men to enter a football stadium and watch the match.
These women disguised as men to enter the Azadi Stadium in Tehran on Friday 27th April to watch the football match of Persepolis and Sepidrood. Previously there have been incidents where women have been barred from entering the stadium! Though there is no official ban on women entering the stadiums, still they were not allowed inside! The pictures of these women went viral all over the English and Persian social media. When asked about whether they were scared of their actions or not; the women said that they are not afraid, as they have not done anything wrong.
