Tapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar will be seen in another hard-hitting drama titled as “Saand Ki Aankh”. Both the actresses have done some impressive work in their short span of a career. “Saand Ki Aankh” is a biography on the life of sharp shooters Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar. Tapsee and Bhumi will be seen in the titular role. Both Chandro and Prakashi are India’s oldest sharpshooters and they began sharpshooting in their fifties.
The makers recently released the first look of the actresses; where they are featured as 60-year-olds, wearing “ghagra” and holding the gun in their hand. Both Tapsee and Bhumi shared the posters on their social media handles, take a look:
The film has been shot in Baghpat as both Chandro and Prakashi hail from Uttar Pradesh. They are known to be the oldest sharpshooters in the world. It will be intriguing to see them in this film; how they have transformed themselves for this role. Saand Ki Aankh will be directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Anurag Kashyap. This will hit the theatres during Diwali this year.
