The rigorous rules of the modelling world can be a pretty hard place for mothers. Breastfeeding in public has been an issue always too. To break such stereotypes Swimsuit model Mara Martin chose to do something brave. Well, this 35-year-old took the concept of 'Take Your Kids to Work Day' to a whole new level. Mara decided to walk the ramp while breastfeeding her baby girl.
Martin, who was one of the 16 finalists at Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Fashion Show carried her five-month-old daughter while walking the ramp. The baby girl wore noise-cancelling headphone, Mara wore a gold bikini and her attitude proudly. The young mother took to her social networking site and stated, “I can’t believe I am waking up to headlines with me and my daughter in them for doing something I do every day. I’m so grateful to be able to share this message and hopefully normalize breastfeeding and also show others that women can do it all.”
