We are talking about some red velvet cup cake with cream cheese. Doesn’t it already water your mouth? This doesn’t require much effort and is not much different from your regular cake batter.
All you have to do is mix a few drops of red food colouring to your vanilla cake batter and to get a dark red colour mix little amount of cocoa powder according to the tone of red you want. Your red velvet batter is ready to be baked.
Meanwhile, pour cream cheese in a bowl and give it a good mix until smooth and mix powdered sugar with it. You can also pour in a few drops of lime juice or vanilla extract in it as per your taste. Once your cup cakes are out of the oven and cooled down, pipe your cream cheese icing on it.
