‘Superwoman’ Lilly Singh became the first Indian woman to get her own late-night show on the NBC network and the netizens have gone after hearing this news. Lilly is a well-known youtube under the pseudonym ||Superwoman||. Her show will be known as A Little Late with Lilly Singh. She made the announcement on another late-night show; on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’. Expressing her joy Lilly said that she is very excited because she is getting to create a show from scratch. She further says, “I get to make it inclusive… and create something I really believe in”.
Lilly was born and brought up in Canada’s Ontario and she started her YouTube channel in October 2010. She has collaborated with many Hollywood and Bollywood stars on her videos including Dwayne Johnson, Seth Rogen, Selena Gomez, Madhuri Dixit, Priyanka Chopra, and others. Global star Priyanka Chopra is a very good friend of the youtube. She was also a part of Nick-Priyanka’s wedding. On hearing the news Priyanka congratulated Lilly via her social media handle. It is scheduled to air after Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyer’s shows and will go on floor in September.
