Say NO to Morning Sickness

Do you know that as per a few surveys women who suffer a lot from giving birth to intelligent babies? Yes, to some extent now I am sure your morning sickness is giving you relief. Morning sickness is normal during pregnancy but if that is turning to excessive vomiting then it is called hyperemesis gravidarum and it is not good for your health as well as your baby’s. So let us share a few tips to cope with this morning sickness.

  1. Try to have foods that are rich in carbohydrates like cereals, rice, and whole grain bread. Protein-rich foods like lentils, peas, beans, lean meats are also helpful to dwindle morning sickness.
  2. If you are trying to prevent nausea then have cold or room temperature foods. Do not try to experiment with the spicy, fried or acidic foods.
  3. Fruits like watermelon, kiwi, apple slices, dried fruits, and banana are good to overcome constipation and condenses the risk of dehydration also.
  4. Take small but frequent meals. Make sure you take something every two hours. There is hardly any need to stuff your stomach with so many things together. Keep yourself hydrated with sufficient water. Avoid taking water immediately after taking a meal.
  5. Keep the windows of your room open and if you are traveling by car then keep the windows open. Let the fresh air get in.
