Vidya Balan is all set to play the role of ‘human calculator’. She will be playing the role of mathematician Shakuntala Devi in the biopic. The news was announced in December last year. Now according to the recent reports, Sanya Malhotra will also be seen in the film playing Vidya’s daughter.
The film is a biopic of mathematician Shakuntala Devi who held the Guinness Book of World Records in 1982 for her talent. She was known as the ‘human calculator’. The film is directed by Anu Menon. Menon approached Sanya with the script. Reports say that she liked the script and being a fan of Vidya, things might just fall into place, but Sanya is yet to sign the contract.
Sanya did a really good job in her recent releases namely ‘Badhaai Ho’, and ‘Pataakha’. The film will go on the floors this year only.
