A 31-year-old woman, from Haryana, named Anu Kumari, has secured 2nd rank in the UPSC 2017 examinations. She is married and has a 4-year-old son but in spite of all odds, she cracked her UPSC Exams. In spite of being a mother of a 4-year-old, she took out 10 to 12 hours for her studies. Apart from this, she said in her interviews that after becoming IAS officer, her prime concern will be the safety of women in India.
The Government of Haryana has congratulated her for cracking the UPSC Civil Services Examination. He said that the other girls of Haryana might get inspired by her success story.
Anu Kumari holds an MBA degree from IMT Nagpur and is also a graduate in Physics honours from Delhi University.
