After almost a decade of dating each other and a marriage of less than a year, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have gone separate ways. According to reports Miley and Liam have split; a rep for Cyrus in a statement said,
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy."
The couple first met on the set of ‘The Last Song’ and the two had an on-again, off-again relationship throughout. In 2012 Liam proposed Miley but that too ended a year later. Again in 2015 keeping aside their differences the two of them reconciled and finally things changed in 2018. That year California underwent another of its deadly wildfire which destroyed Miley and Liam’s Malibu home. This brought the couple even closer and hence they decided it is the best time to get married. The couple tied the knot on December 2018. In an interview with a prestigious publication, she expressed that she doesn’t “fit into a stereotypical wife role.” Speculations about their separation were making rounds when the singer posted a picture without her wedding ring.
