Deepika Padukone has been doing some incredible work over the course of few years from ‘Bajirao Mastani’ to ‘Padmavat’ her journey has been a really commendable one, she has polished her acting skills with every film. Now her upcoming project is a biopic on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The talented actress recently shared the first look of her character on her social media and we are nothing but spellbound. The transformation she went through just for the role is the sign of a true artist. The resemblance between her and Laxmi is uncanny. Though in the movie Deepika’s character is named as Malti. Deepika’s eyes in the poster speak the entire story the pain, agony along with the ray of hope and optimism; everything is just perfectly captured in that poster. The movie is directed by Meghna Gulzar and its shoot has also begun. The film is slated to release in 2020’ 10th January.
