To be a director is both tough and easy. It is ‘tough’ because it entails full concentration and focus on almost all the aspects going around you and ‘easy’ because everything is in your hands. Second opinion is scarcely required. Talking about working with powerful women in the film industry, I feel myself blessed to be a part of them. Each of them is different in their approach and that is pretty likeable.
Raima I think is gifted, the gift of asking the director to narrate the scene before the shot and exactly replicate what the character demands from the director, she has become extremely mature as an actress but when she will think that she will bully you on set only God can help you, she is a director's delight and starting from Anjan Dutta to Churni Ganguly to Birsa Dasgupta she is is hot demand now and she has played a classical dancer in the film SUBHO NABABORSHO, first time ever onscreen as a dancer
Swastika Mukherjee is the most angry young woman to me, she is someone whom you only handle by offering her a role which noone can perform apart from her, extremely choosy about roles and her anger and mood sometimes get out of hand and then ditectors go mad , she has a double role in the film Birpurush and no other than her could have done it with such brilliance
Sreenanda Shankar is too tough to work with. She is presently far from showing fairness to any character as per directors’ choice. As a dancer she is not up to the mark because she is expected to be better as she belongs to “the Shankar” family. On the whole Sreenanda needs to work on herself more to carry on her line of career in the Bengali film industry
Srabanti a sweetheart, candyflosss but on floors she is a tigress and first time she played a raw officer in the film Birpurush and my God the action sequences that she performed no one will ever thought of doing it and Birpurush is Srabanti's best till date, she is outstanding as an actor but very sensitive and emotional too, needs extra caring for handling
Aprita chatterjee is my darling and such an non tanturm leas star, so good in her homework and has nice observing power, she watches everyone on the floor acting, makes u feel so comfortable and never shows an attitude of prosenjit chatterjee s wife, she is so inividualistic as a person
