Kumar Sanu might hold the world record for singing 28 songs in a day but he is more proud of his daughter Shannon K. In a recent statement, Sanu said that he never wanted to tell anyone that he adopted her; he feared of what people would think.
Now, as the secret is out, he wants everyone to know that he is really proud of her and she is the reason most people in Hollywood know him. He added that Shannon is very hard working and has always been an achiever from an early age. Shannon writes original songs and compose melodies.
Shannon K was born on June 16th, 2001, in India but was raised in the UK. She now lives in Los Angeles. She dabbed hands in pop, R&B, ballad, soft rock, and blues in Hollywood and her first music video was realized when she was twelve. She was also the most viewed artist for her video ‘Lately’ for 24 hours. Apart from singing, writing, rehearsing and performing, Shannon believes in serving for good causes. She spends as much time as possible on a number of charities and even donated her hair for the Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs for children living with cancer and other illnesses.
