Janhvi Kapoor’s Rooh-Afza

Janhvi Kapoor who recently started the shoot of her upcoming biopic on IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena has now joined the cast of Rooh-Afza, the horror comedy. A few days back we came to know that Janhvi will take flying lessons for the biopic and in Rooh-Afza she will be seen in a double role opposite the talented Rajkummar Rao. Rooh-Afza is a horror-comedy, to be made by the makers of the 2018 blockbuster movie ‘Stree’. It will be directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mighdeep Singh Lamba. About casting Janhvi producer Dinesh Vijan says that they needed someone who could portray two contrasting personalities with ease, and Janhvi stood out. He further said,

“She really connected with the script. Her talent is still raw, but she is excited about being moulded. The script is young, refreshing and totally crazy, and she is exactly that”.

The movie will also star actor Varun Sharma. Rajkummar and Janhvi’s pairing will be quite interesting and refreshing for the audience. The movie will go on the floors this June and it is expected to release in March next year. They have also shared the first poster of the movie.
