‘I am…Jenna Jihad’

At the age of 10, she should have been making pancakes, Bulgarian waffles or watching cartoons. But instead of making her favorite food, Janna is making the news. This brave little kid opted out to risk her life to capture real-life stories. Janna believes that professional journalistsdon’t give the exact news’, so she took the responsibility to show the whole scenario and posted on various social media platforms.

Meet Janna Jihad Ayyad, the young journalist from Palestine’s northern village making everyone awe. She has an aim to raise awareness about the plight of her people. This brave Journalist would often pen down her feelings and frustrations and convey to the world. She became a journo when she was just 7 years old.

This little girl turned into an activist when she used her mother’s phone to record the protest staged by Palestine people and international peace activist. She gained internet fame back in 2004 and is recognized as the world’s ‘youngest amateur’ reporter. She has 80,000 likes currently on her facebook page. “I am proud of my daughter, but very scared too. She is just 10 years old kid. Instead of going to school, she is trying to be productive what else can a mother expect. I am happy,” said her mother Nawal. Recently she won the Nelson Mandela Nobel Peace Prize.
