Suchetha Satish, an Indian girl who lives in Dubai. She can sing songs in 85 different languages. The 12-year old broke the Guinness World Record by singing in multiple languages in one concert.
The grade seven students of the Indian High School in Dubai took an attempt to sing songs in 85 languages in which Suchetha succeeded. Interestingly, she learned to sing in a different language in just over a year. She even broke the record of Dr. Kesiraju Srinivas aka Ghazal Srinivas who holds the highest record for singing in 76 languages till date. Her first song was in Japanese. Born into a family of ardent music lovers, she started learning Carnatic music at the tender age of four. Her mother revealed that she has been showing a flair for languages for a long time apart from her passion for music.
She said,
Usually, I take around two hours to learn a song. If it is easy to pronounce, I can learn it fast. If it is not a lengthy song, I can finish in half an hour.
Though French, Hungarian, and German were the most difficult ones for her she managed it.
Miraculously, she takes just two hours to learn a song. If the song is easy to pronounce, she learns it in no time. Now that’s talent!
