Last week India celebrated its 73rd Independence Day, like every year the country indulged in the celebrations, but this year the Independence Day was a bit more special for the television actress Hina Khan. New York City celebrated the India Day Parade on 18th August, and Hina Khan graced the event as a guest. She is the first-ever celebrity to lead the Parade. She was invited by the Federation of Indian Associations and NBA. The actress appeared in a red and white striped saree with a black border, in a traditional look unfurled the National Flag at the Parade. She shared a few pictures from the event, take a look.
Hina was last seen in the reboot version of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, reprising the role of the iconic vamp ‘Komolika’. She exited the show to pursue her dream of becoming a movie actress. Lately, her debut film ‘Lines’ screened at the Cannes International Film Festival. Soon she will be debuting in Bollywood most probably opposite Rohan Shah under the banner of Vikram Bhatt.
