Have a good night sleep, Y'all

“Me: We need to fall asleep.

Brain: No, let's stay awake and think about every decision we made today” – Anonymous

Whether you’re living a lavish and sizzling life of a ‘Desperate Housewife’ or you’re a hard-working student, there’s a good chance you may be tired and with good reason. As per research, women are more likely than men to experience insomnia more than men. A 2005 National Sleep Foundation poll found out that 57% of women and 51% of men experienced the symptom. When it comes to catching some zzzz’s, it seems ladies just aren’t making the grade. From careers to handling kids, to family events to any social gathering, life comes first for us and sleep comes last. To disrupt these factors more throw some biology into the mad mixture-like woman’s menstrual cycle and insomnia becomes even more common.

Even though it is recommended that 7.5 to 8 hours is required to shut your wide eyes to perform your best the next day (but who cares!!!). But you’re losing sleep, ladies. No foundation will help you to settle down your dark circle. Insomnia is a lifestyle disease which has got a lot to do with your eating habit, stress and many more factors. Try to change it. Here’s how you can sleep like a baby:

1.Avoid consumption of caffeine at least 4-6 hours before you hit the bed unless you want to end up like a night owl.

2.Avoid spicy food otherwise you might end up with an upset tummy.

3.De-clutter your room to keep your mind calm. This theory has been backed by research too.

4.We know you won’t agree on this one. But meditation for 10-15 minutes can aid in relaxing your stressed mind.

P.s Sleep tight, Y'all!
