After the historic verdict of decriminalizing Section 377 earlier this month, the country has opened gates to new hopes. Common citizens to celebrities, everyone took to social media to mark this remarkable event. But what cricketer Gautam Gambhir did is truly commendable.
Recently, he attended an event of the transgender community in their support. He was the chief guest of that programme where he cut the ribbon and kick-started the event. He took his time to speak a few words of inspiration for the community that too while donning a ‘dupatta’ and a ‘bindi’ on his forehead. This is not the first time he did something like this but earlier he celebrated ‘Raksha Bandhan’ with them. And we believe that we speak for everyone that our society needs more humans like Gautam Gambhir.
