Female Cop to Complete Rohit’s Universe

Bollywood has received mixed responses when it comes to portraying the female actors. But the best thing is it believes in experimenting. Whenever we think of cop movies probably the first movie that comes to our mind is Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham’. Singham created a separate fanbase and it was a huge success. After that Rohit Shetty’s recent release ‘Simmba’, is yet another cop film that too became a blockbuster. And now, the director plans to make movie on a policewoman. A movie with female cop will complete Rohit’s cop universe. Yes, Rohit said that after watching Hollywood’s ‘Avengers’ series he got the idea of creating a similar universe in Bollywood also. But he didn’t make superhero films instead proceeded with cop-movies. Rohit’s next venture is also about a policeman starring Akshay Kumar and the movie is titled as ‘Sooryavanshi’. And about the female cop movie Rohit said that he will soon be making it and they have a story in mind as well. Female actors have been seen in the role of female cops before also and like many other roles they played it with conviction and passion. For example, Priyanka Chopra in ‘Jai Gangajal’, Rani Mukherjee in ‘Mardaani’, Tabu in ‘Drisyam’, Rekha in ‘Phool Bane Aagaray’ are few to mention. Let’s see how Rohit frames the female cop movie.
