City girl runs and grabs the pickpocket

Sanchari Saha is an ordinary girl who lives in Badamtala. She is studying at Barrackpore Rastraguru Surendranath College and she is 19 years old. A few days back she was returning home from her college in bus number 85. While she was about to get down the bus, one of the commuters told her that, an unidentified man, while getting down the bus had nabbed her phone from her pocket.

Though she was not able to nab him at first, later without losing a second she jumped from the running bus. And, she started running in the direction of the man and yelling out to the folks for help. Finally, she nabbed the man and asked him to return her mobile phone. In the first few minutes, the pickpocket disagreed and was on a brink of harming her. But she was adamant to get back her phone and teach the man a lesson.

And, finally, she was successful in catching the pickpocket and handed him to the police. The Titagarh police have arrested the snatcher and case has been filed against him.

It’s a true saying that your age doesn’t define who you are. Though she is young, her small act of courage makes her different from others. The police are proud of her and think such acts can help to reduce the petty crimes in the city.
