Nothing is impossible if you truly want it to happen and two ladies made this statement true. Two young women bikers, Amrutha Kashinath and Shubra Achary, proved that zest can deliver anything. They have shattered age-old stereotypes and misconception regarding what a woman can and cannot do.
They both reached Leh from Kanyakumari in just 129 hours. It is the fastest South-North tour done by any woman bikers on two-wheelers. This road trip has been registered in the ‘Limca Book of Records’ for reaching Leh in such short span of time. It was not a challenge to finish the road trip within the fixed time, but later the girls decided to race against time and without any realization they finished the journey in just five days. They covered 3,825 kms within a few days and only slept for five hours a day.
