Andarkahini of every Woman

After garnering immeasurable appreciation in several film festivals across both India and abroad director Arnab Kumar Middya’s ‘Andarkahini’ is all set for its theatrical release. This woman-centric film introspects the ways of society and its moral values through the mirror of womanhood. Andarkahini tells four stories of four women coming from one society with different diversities. Interestingly, instead of featuring four protagonists for the four stories the director chose to have one leading lady only that is played by Priyanka Sarkar. The protagonist is always a woman who is sometimes a daughter, a sister, a friend or a wife. Each character explores a different relationship and at the end comes a sense of realization. Priyanka’s work has been appreciated so much that she even received the Best Actress Award at the 2018 Dadasaheb Phalke Film festival. The first poster of the film has also been released recently featuring Priyanka in different looks. Andarkahini also stars Rajesh Sharma, Sayani Ghosh, Soumitra Chatterjee, Sumit Samaddar, Anindya Chatterjee and Prasun gain.
