Age is just a number and she proved it. If you have it in mind and zeal to complete the work then ‘Bhagwan bhi tume rok nahi sakta’! A few months ago, 96-year-old Karthyayani Amma from Alappuzha district in Kerala, never thought she will create news.
Earlier this year she was the oldest among 43,330 students who sat for class 10 examination in August. This oldest candidate who appeared candidate who appeared for the ‘Aksharalaksham’ programme of the state under Kerala State Literacy Mission Authority. The best part is this lady, Amma scored 98 marks out of 100.
Well, her result is pretty impressive. She scored 38 out of 40 in writing and full marks of 30 each in reading and Mathematics. Her next target learn computer and crack the exam.
