American Supermodel Bella Hadid declared the world’s most beautiful woman

American Supermodel Bella Hadid is officially the most beautiful woman in the world, says Greek Mathematics.

A group of scientists determining the most beautiful woman on the planet, according to the 'Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi Standards' have picked Bella's face as the one that comes closest to perfection.

The 'Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi' defines beauty in accordance with classic Greek calculations. Measurements of facial proportions are done going by standards that Greek scholars applied while trying to define beauty with a scientific formula.

The 23-year-old Victoria’s Secret model’s face is found be to 94.35 per cent “perfect”. Bella's eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape were measured and it came closest to the Greeks' idea of perfection.

Pop diva Beyoncé grabbed the second spot after Bella Hadid. According to the parameters of the 'Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi', she has a face that is 92.44 per cent perfect. Actress Amber Heard is at number three with a ratio of 91.85 per cent while pop star Ariana Grande is placed fourth with 91.81 per cent. While Taylor Swift and Kate Moss were sitting pretty in fifth and sixth position respectively, with Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, Katy Perry and Cara Delevingne round out the top 10.

The measurements were conducted using latest computerised mapping techniques by Dr Julian De Silva, a renowned facial cosmetic surgeon at London's famous Harley Street.

Dr De Silva, who runs the London-based Centre for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery, said: "Bella Hadid was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection. She had the highest overall reading for her chin which, with a score of 99.7 percent, is only 0.3 percent away from being the perfect shape. Bella also came second behind Scarlett Johansson for the positioning of her eyes (99.9 percent).”

"The brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients' surgery,” he added.
